The maximum charging power for your electric car with PV power is influenced, among other things, by the size of the PV system and the consumption profile of other appliances in your household. The larger the PV system and the smaller the power consumption of your household appliances, the greater the maximum charging power available with PV power. With a maximum system output of 5 kWp and a household consumption of 1 kW, 3.7 kW are still available for single-phase charging of the electric car at a charging station , while 0.3 kW are still being fed into the grid.
